GTB boasts top-notch design and testing facilities capable of conducting routine tests as per IS:2026/IS:1180 with calibrated meters before dispatch. The company also has a complete testing lab for transformer oil. Today, GTB is one of the top manufacturers of distribution transformers ranging from 10 KVA to 5000 KVA up to 33 KV Class, with different voltage ratios. GTB ensures transformers undergo impulse tests and short-circuit tests from government-approved testing houses such as NTH Ghaziabad, CPRI Bhopal, and ERDA Vadodara.
As an approved vendor of the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) and TATA Projects Ltd. for transformer supply, GTB is registered under the quality making scheme of the Punjab government and is a regular supplier to PSPCL (Punjab State Power Corporation Ltd).
